The intensity and color of the 2005 FUTO is deeply pitched red to black. Aromatics are vibrant with a fresh tone of red fruits, specifically cherries and raspberries. The complexity of this wine unfolds further to include earthy, soil-driven notes and exotic spices, such as Tamarind. The mouth feel is pure richness framed by ripe, supple tannins and fine acid structure. This red wine will continue to improve with bottle aging, but drink well near term.
